Staff is not good very arrogant staff.
I liked the cleanliness off my room. I came at a late hour and my reservations was a booked a day early, however they accomodated me and made my stay easy.
The staff over priced items. First I had a good staff member who brought me water free off charge. Then another staff member charged me 40rupies. The water was cold, and they didnt include breakfast. For the price im paying for a backpackers hotel info delhi it should have been more accomodating. Like include airport pick and breakfast.
We used this hotel as a transit stop between trains from New Delhi Railway Station. Its location (500m from NDLS) was excellent, and its Super Deluxe rooms had all that you could need - equivalent to a good 3 star motel in Australia. One of our party stayed on for another 3 days, and found the location excellent for shopping both at the local markets and the Connaught Place area
Nothing much to note
The rooms are good & clean with good response of staff
There is very small bathrooms & no bin for the papers in toilet
If you want to pay credit card, they add 10% to the price. Rude staff
staff spent more time talking to each other rather than answering customer's question. they need more training.
Very close to New Delhi Station. There are many shops and restaurants in the street
If you want to pay with credit card, they add 10% to the bill.
As you will see fro m your records I booked a room for 2 nights I received a comfirmation and as it was for a windowless room I cancelled immediately and rebooked a room with a window. When we arrived we were shown several rooms all with out windows and one bed as I was travelling with my son we chose a room with 2 beds and although we had a "window" it was in the passage near the bathroom. In the room was a illuminated fish tank 10 fish lurking about all night which we found uncomfortable and eerie so we checked out the next day. The hotel insisted we pay for 2 nights which we did and I have receipts and a photograph of the room. Please advise Sara Bell
Clean comfortable easy to be in hotel. central location and quiet from the noisy bustling street outside. Effective air con, free flowing hot water. No Hassel Hotel easy come and go and easy to extend booking. Staff are effecient and helpful and friendly and very importantly non intrusive. Good priced hote, clean and tidy. Would recommend it.
The road its on is extremely busy. Food provided needs a lot of improvement, service is extremely slow and 1 hour 15 mins wait for an omellette and toast is really too long to wait, also quality of meal would be better if it was prepared from fresh produce not processed food. Good food and effecient service would mean more people would eat there.
The prize and the room. Clean, big and good room. Bed was good bathroom was ok. They even have a fish tank inside each bedroom.
First of all the stuff is pretty incompetent and rude, both the restaurant and the reception. We always have to wait to get our keys or anything from the reception even if there was 3 or 4 staff people in the reception.
Good place to stay at a budget price. Air-conditioned, spacious room. Equally spacious bathroom with a partitioned shower.
1. The location, though very near to the metro & old Delhi train station, isn't very inspiring if you want to go out for a stroll. Cleanliness of the streets in the vicinity was pretty much non-existent. To be fair though, it has nothing to do with the hotel itself. 2. The room we stayed in had no hot water for the short duration (one night only) we were there. Although we rang up house-keeping multiple times they never bothered to look into/rectify the issue. 3. No soap provided for the bathroom. After getting no response to the hot water issue we didn't bother with house-keeping & ended up using our own.
Personnel was vey friendly and always available to help with any questions/poblems you might have. We had a nice spacious executive room with ac at a very nice price. Hotel is close to the train station between old and new Delhi, and located on a crowded street (main bazaar) with all kinds of shops and restaurants. Restauant is fine, particularly on the rooftop. Hari Piorko Travel agent near registration desk.
The hotel is a welcome oasis in one of the grottiest parts of Delhi. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The standard of maintenance was poor. We had a burst pipe in the bathroom at 5:00am which flooded the whole room within minutes. We were quickly moved to another room where the fan made such a noise that we had to switch it off.
I felt that the facilities were very good and that the staff were pleasant and helpful at every point during the my stay. The food was also excellent and the location in the Paharganj is ideal as a starting point for exploration (it is very close to the train and metro stations). All round a very enjoyable stay.
Although the bathrooms were clean and hot water available, I felt that compared to how nice the rooms are, the bathrooms could have done with being updated a little bit (however, you soon get used to bathrooms being an afterthought in India).
Great Location, clean rooms, cool fish tanks in deluxe rooms, food pretty good.
My only complaint is that I got inconsistent information from the front desk. I booked for 4 days, but decided to do a day-trip to Jaipur in the middle. When I explained this at the front desk, the host that would be fine, he'd change the reservation and I'd get a refund when I checked out. Great, I couldn't ask for more. Then when I came back and checked out, they told me that they couldn't refund my extra day because they had already blocked the room for me and the money was already in the booking system. That's what I would have expected originally, but I they should have told me that from the beginning.
